Dav O'Connor
I have been working in the joinery industry for over 30 years, starting with a 3 year apprenticeship as a woodmachinist making high class pine furniture, I then worked for a national shopfitting company doing work for Eurodisney and department stores including John Lewis, Bainbridges and BHS to their obvious very high standards. After this I then spent 11 years working for a local joinery company making bespoke joinery products including sliding sash windows, staircases and other joinery products, before setting up Custom Made Joinery in 2010.

I have worked for Custom Made Joinery for three years, in that time I have served my time as a joiner, manufacturing box sash windows, panelled doors, glazed doors and a range of other joinery products. During my tima as an apprentice, I attended Redcar & Cleveland College on a day release once a week, where I studied my level 2 and 3 NVQ in bench joinery.
