Custom Made Joinery is based in Marske by the Sea, North Yorkshire and was established in 2010. Owner Dav O'Conner has over thirty years experience producing quality joinery products for the public and building trade. Since opening, the business has developed quickly, building up a customer base which includes property developers as well as architects in London.

We produce a range of modern and contemporary products including staircases, kitchens and a traditional range such as sliding sash windows and conservatories, all made combining modern fixings and glues with traditional joints and fixing methods.

 

We use traditional mortice and tenon joints with scribed shoulders and matching moulds, with all joints secured with high quality adhesives and secured with wedges. We pride ourselves in offering high quality bespoke products ensuring the highest standard of finish no matter how big or small the job may be.

 

Our workshop is modern, equipped with all the necessary machinery needed to produce a first class product. We offer products in a factory finished state, hand painted to your specification, ie: gloss finish or eggshell finish, or a bare timber finish to be painted or stained on site, and can supply your product ready glazed leaving a simple job fixing on site. All our softwood products that are for external use are vac-vac pressure treated to prevent rot and are guaranteed against this for at least 30 years, a certificate will be delivered with any such job as proof of guarantee.
